I promised Giuliana ( http://cannellaecioccolato.blogspot.com/ ) to post my Christmas tree, but then the devil has had a hand .... and then here it is, the sapling, before being placed in its box .... it is a tree very kitsch. Most part of the decorations are "do-me", decoupage, patchwork, etc.., while the others preserve special memories are gifts for my mom for my first Christmas away from home (this was back in 1980), others are the result of 'falling in love with my daughters and acuistate Christmas markets .... I can not replace them, so come back every year out of their shells to remember all the good Christmases past .....

This is the latest addition to this year's ball: a small village in the snow ....


and this is added last year, every year I add some new fact ... Now I'm all in their boxes waiting anxiously next Christmas, but to me the whole house is tidy, and the fact that I can do the work just in slow motion it will take me a lifetime! Paola

Though late I want to wish you all a peaceful and happy 2009! For me 2008 has started badly and ended worse! I came home only today after spending the holidays in hospital due to a devastating renal colic that hit mamy ... The worst is over but all my plans for the holidays PUFF! were dissolved hours .... I will try to regain their strength and at least enjoy these few remaining days .... I thank all those who have left me a comment or sent an e-mail greetings ..... A very warm hug and hope that 2009 is really a better year! Paola
