BLOWN rice cakes (like Ciocorì)

I had already made similar cakes but with the Mars but my tastes were too heavy with all that butter. So I tried to make it simple, only with melted chocolate and puffed rice: a goodness!
With milk chocolate came perfect, but I had problems with white chocolate ... I was caked white chocolate is in fact more sensitive to melt because less resistant to heat, I should keep it more d ' eye ... the next time there'll be more careful and I will use that of which I was not Lindt never betrayed!

Ingredients (all eye!):

  • milk chocolate
  • puffed rice
  • a knob of butter (optional)
  • if you prefer you can use dark chocolate or white

I love the pasta with the fish, usually I linguine or spaghetti, but this time I used the homemade.

MOIST CAKE WITH APPLE AND RAISIN BREAD (like Macafame)


Questa ricetta l’ho presa da Cookaround, non mi ricordo bene chi fosse l’autrice perché ho fatto il solito copia-incolla, e me ne scuso. Comunque è un dolce povero tipico del Veneto fatto con il pane avanzato. Dato che mi succede spesso di avere del pane non più “mangiabile”, ogni tanto mi piace usarlo us for the desserts.

  • 750 grams of milk (1 liter)
  • 150 grams of sugar (180 gr)
  • 100 grams of raisins
  • 30 grams of brandy or rum or other liqueur (optional - in fact I have not made)
  • 3 apples into small pieces 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • (facoltativo – io l’ho messo)
  • (250 gr di farina 00)
  • la scorza di un limone (vanillina)
  • cannella se piace






Spezzettare il pane, metterlo in ammollo nel latte per qualche ora. Io ho usato le fruste elettriche, frullando il pane e poi, man mano, tutti gli altri ingredienti, ma la ricetta prevedeva solo di mescolare il tutto. Versare nella tortiera imburrata ed infarinata, cospargere di zucchero (di canna nel mio caso) e cuocere a 180° per un’oretta circa.

Non saltatemi in testa se questa non è la ricetta ufficiale dei Cantucci, direi che comunque ci assomigliavano davvero tanto. Io ho usato le nocciole perché le preferisco, vanno comunque benissimo anche le mandorle se le preferite.






Ingredienti:

  • 150 g hazelnuts, toasted and peeled
  • 250 grams of flour
  • 200 grams of sugar
  • 2 eggs 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract







Working up the eggs with sugar, add milk, vanilla, nuts and flour sifted with yeast. Knead until smooth. Divide into two loaves slightly crushed (I have done a nice wide), place on baking tray lined with baking paper, brush with milk or a beaten egg yolk (optional) and bake at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes, until golden . Let cool and cut into slices with a sharp knife diagonal width of about 1 to 1.5 cm. Should be put back in oven for another 5 min in order to make them stay crispy beautiful but I have not done (and in fact were a bit 'soft).
